        发展循环经济、推进节能减排、提倡低碳经济，日益成为当今世界发展的主旋律。近些年，中国在发展循环经济和推进节能减排方面取得了重大成就。胡锦涛、温家宝等党和国家领导人曾多次指出要大力发展循环经济，建设节约型社会。国务院、发改委、科技部等相关部门出台有关政策，积极促进落实节能减排工作，发改委、环保部正制定发展低碳经济政策。目前，实现“十一五”环保目标已进入攻坚阶段，全社会将进一步加大环保投资力度，“十一五”期间环保投资预计达到13750亿元，环保支出科目已被正式纳入国家财政预算。节能环保产业正面临巨大的市场机遇，我国环保产业可望保持年均15%-17%的增长速度，预计2010年全国环保产业年收入总值将达8800亿-10000亿元。相关政府官员及业内专家提示，环保节能产业正面临难得的历史机遇，企业应及时把握政策走向，多渠道积极开拓市场。

本届“循环经济成果与节能减排技术展”将以“展览结合论坛、宣传结合推广、项目结合产品”等多种形式，着力宣传国家关于循环经济与节能减排最新政策，重点展示发展循环经济的成果和典型以及节能减排新技术，有效宣传低碳理念，低碳城市、低碳工业、低碳建筑、低碳交通等，大力推广能源节约、环境保护、资源综合利用、清洁生产工艺、新材料等领域科技含量较高的新产品、新技术，努力促进循环经济和低碳经济的全面发展，全面推进节能减排实施工作。届时，党和国家领导人、国家有关部委领导、以及来自国内多数省市领导、国外一些国家有关部门负责人和相关企业界代表及专家、学者等将到会参观、交流。中央电视台、北京电视台、新华社、美联社、知名报刊、网络及专业媒体竞相采访、宣传报道本届展会。
